Solved cryptogram
Jupiter carries more than twice the mass of every other planet in the solar system combined.
Astronomy Facts, sourced to NASA.
What it means
It is so heavy that the sun and Jupiter orbit a common center of gravity that sits just outside the sun's surface, so strictly speaking Jupiter does not orbit the sun, the two of them circle a point between them. Its gravity has shaped the whole system, clearing and stirring the asteroid belt and deflecting or capturing comets that might otherwise have reached the inner planets.
The claim comes from NASA, and the page it comes from was read on 2026-08-27 to confirm it still says this.
This is not the kind of claim that goes out of date, which is why it was set as a puzzle rather than a fact with a shelf life.
