Gravity is the force physicists measure with the poorest precision, despite being familiar.

What it means

Everyone experiences gravity constantly, and yet the constant that sets its strength is pinned down to only a few parts in a hundred thousand, while the electron's magnetic moment is measured to twelve digits. The problem is that gravity is absurdly weak between laboratory-sized objects, and it cannot be screened out, so every nearby mass contaminates the experiment.

The claim comes from NIST.
